The episode is called "Passages" and for me it was also emotionally and spiritually strong because I was doing mourning for the death of my grandmother and it was my 15 years. It is one of the episodes that I love the most.

As a viewer I felt appreciated when I saw this last part of the series. Not many American series have a real ending, let alone thank their audience.

I remember watching "MacGyver's" final scene when it was fresh... I was five years old at the time and a HUGE fan of the show. When he and his son drove away on their motorcycles, all I could manage was a tearful "Goodbye, MacGyver..." while waving... Then, once it was all over, I just lost it... :.-(

Until this day, in Indonesia, people at 40-70, still called "Pisau Mac Gyver" (Mac Gyver knife) the Swiss army knife. He is my hero when i was teen. He is very popular in my country on teh late 90's. Now I am 52.

Ethan Robison (& Meg), did you know Dana Elcar went blind on the show. The producers went above and beyond to help him transition. During the last season he was totally blind. I recall an episode of ET where they showed how they methodically led him through scenes with tape, props, etc. Dana Elcar was worth it. A fine actor.

If RDA never left Macgyver we wouldn't have his wonderful portrayal of Jack O'niell. So really, this was a blessing in disguise. Also, a fantastic and heartwarming ending to an amazing show.

I grew up with this show, too. The last season was released two years before I was born, but I've still seen almost every episode. I remember that for 5 years I watched this every day after school. I hope that one day when I get kids, they'll want to watch it, too. MacGyver was my childhood hero the way Indiana Jones was other kids'. I'll never forget him. Thank YOU for all the memories, too :)

@@christinagurl0522 Well I know there IS a reboot but it's not really MacGyver , just an abuse of a name of a popular classic and it's characters . Classics should remain classics ,not to be messed up again .
