@@Leothecat2way I'm talking about during his sprint which where he can spindash straight into the barrel, which might destroy it (idk how much hp the barrel has). Even then, both citrons and braniums are best at rolling/flying around and picking of single targets that could be considered infuriating. Both have the tools to gain choice when an engagement will start or end. Pirates aren't necessarily able to decide this even with this upgrade setup as citron can just EMPeach you if you get to close. I'd say that the best citron counter is wizard because of how Zeelixir can lock enemies in engagements. Branium could work but it's quite risky as citrons can already counter brainiums.

This is my favourite Deadbeard build. I have a question, however. Do you think you will ever do Pvz Heroes content? I know that it doesn’t match the shooter game-based videos you make, but it’d be fun to see some git guds for heroes/decks.

Nicely made build. Happy to see a spotlight on this set up here, as it's personally one of my favorites and makes Pirate WAY more fun to play. Haven't tried Health regen delay on, usually tend to run Heavy Metal. Most would probably say it's the preferred choice, but I can see merits for running it instead for wanting to go all out with the Barrel.

I see the purpose of the health regen upgrade, if you want to rely solely on the barrel. I think the kit gets a much needed offensive buff with Heavy Metal, though. Since you're most likely always using the Anchors Away before using the barrel, you'll be flying out of the barrel with an instant quickscope that can leave even the most stacked Oaks sweating buckets.

I think acorn with rewind and hardened could make for a cool build as it makes you able to spam the mini sap trap much more and is especially useful for launching yourself to high places or behind enemy lines. The extra health allows you to play with less cautiousness and take easier risks. On another note, long bomb plus huge fuse for the all star creates a punt that I'd say nearly matches that of garden warfare 1 and 2 and is fun to go right into a citron or chomper's face and just shove it in. It really takes them by surprise! I love BFN it can be a pain but I feel all the upgrade combos bring some refreshing variety to the gameplay that not even GW2 could offer to me at points.

why not use heavy metal? i use heavy metal, shore leave and long barrel to spam people up close with shotgun-sniper-shotgun shot in quik succession (this also works in gw2 funny enough) which thanks to heavy metal and long barrel deletes a lot of health. or I use to to have a max shot always ready since the effect doesn't have a time limit. if you changed health regen delay to heavy metal you could do the same.
