Some high passes in that lot. First F15 was well banked over 👍

Went there for my birthday about 13 years ago, sat up on Cad West for a few hours, waiting.. hoping.. Nothing.. and then while walking back down to the car park i saw it.. 3 Tornados flew over, one of which flew less than 100ft directly overhead! Absolutely unreal! Also, i remember looking over at Cad east thinking, how on earth do they get up there! It's a sheer cliff 😂 and bloody high! Every other day i get F-15's flying at high altitude over my house (i live about 10 miles away from Cosford Airbase) on their way to the loop.. too high to see though. Wish i could see those in person when they're flying the loop..

Wow seeing the tornados would have been epic. We are going back in a few weeks hopefully see some f35s

@@MikeBarnett Oh believe me it was epic! Only thing that comes close is when i went to scotland for the NC500.. we pulled over in the middle of an awesome tight valley.. then unexpectedly two Eurofighters came screaming through almost at head height performing an awesome bank as they did. Best of luck for when you go in a few weeks, that would be a catch, seeing the F-35's.. There's a good chance you will see some F-15's, but they haven't been using as frequently the past few weeks.. Good Luck 👍🏻

Its not Radar its nothing to do with the aircraft. Its a telecommunications microwave link. The camouflage enclosure is the only way they can get them installed and keep planners happy. It'll be for the emergency services network or a mobile phone operator. Its not a generator its a radio equipment cabinet that may have fans in it.

ADSB is better than flight radar its more basic press the U button and it just leaves the military aircraft and hides all the commercial

Texans aren't super cool for many but remember that's a young person training to make it to Hawk, and then onto the big bad stuff. Future defender, but right then some proud parents' kid.

Glad you didn't wild camp! Wild camping isn't allowed in Wales without the land owners permission so if you piss off the farmers they could cut off access to the best places for viewing and screw up the hobby for everyone, not having a go, just a bit of advice. If you want to do it elsewhere then that's up to you, just saying, could have repercussions for the other photographers/videographers/content creators in the mach loop. It has happened in the past!

@@MikeBarnett Be respectful, leave no trace 👍🏻 That way most of the time, it'll be all good. Not that I need to say it, just backing you up.

Why the f*** would you point out on your video the location of what is very obviously part of the LFA and helps to ensure the safety of the aircraft.

It's hardly hidden is it. Anyone who goes up will see them and the hut.
