Machel to soca is like Da Vinci to the Mona Lisa. The man is a great artiste. The horns are hypnotic, a wonderful nod to old time calypso. Year after year he bringing the biggest tunes. I didn't think he could do better than 'Mr Fete' but I forget he is de boss!!!!

Whoa!! Who could compete with that. Real nice performance de man is a BOSS Pro! I'm happy he slowed the tempo for power soca this year we were heaading to 160-170bpm's. I'm way too old for anything over 140bpm--Lol!!. Good job MM ya de boss fuh real.

Just finish watching Supa performance at de Park... Allyuh watch "Barabara", "Bounce" and "Bacchanal". In my opinion, Machel seems to be trying rel hard, whilst Supa just seem so effortless. As soon as he step on stage crowd mash up, Machel on de other hand have to build up. Doh geh meh wrong Machel can't be touched right now, but something missing. May be is ah different crowd and different generation- people have to take ah time out to bbm, tweet, video tape and whatever di hell dey does do these days. It feels like entertainers always have to go di extra mile to get the crowd to focus again. All this "pause" and "low", wah de hell.
