hi Sir, your clear information and explanation is so good. i have one doubt , Drilling through hole /Threaded hole on mounting block for bearing house is ok but we do find difficult while inserting fasteners /screws fastening with align keys during assembly

I have not understood why you find difficulties, reason?

Sir I have a question How to lock the fix side unit nut in this mounting arrangement
@mastermechanicaldesign Жыл бұрын
Hi Ritesh, There is a key cut on the ball screw (must give the key cut when using this type of mounting block), Hold the lock nut and tighten from the ball screw side using a spanner on. Or we also make cuts on the mounting block for spanner space (as i have shown the standard type of servo mounting bracket, time 3:50 )

Sir, Also please share your background. Means education/job role/your employer etc We are curious

Hi Sanjeev ji, Please don't call sir, I'm too young for this title 😊 My background I'm graduated from Punjab technical university in 2014. My current role is Senior machine design engineer/Manager. I don't want to share my employer company name on this platform. But yes, I'm working with so nice peoples, and they are open minded on my personal growth as KZbin content creator. As of now I have done like more than 400- 450 different type of machine design in my entire career. (Mostly General machines and Special purpose Assembly lines) And here I'm trying to connect "The dots" creatively like Design experiences, knowledge, Video editing, Animations skills to help others, I know I'm not perfect at everything and never will be, still learning and trying do my best as much I can then just before. and I'm so much happy to be making content which may help designers like you and others in there carrer. Thank you so much for showing interest to know about me.

Sir ji, Aap please ek approach bataye - how to decide/check data : to select required thickness of metal plate/sheet/tube , "Which can take load (kg.) of total other elements and run without vibration It is for machine segment
@mastermechanicaldesign Жыл бұрын
Sir, Right selection of material thickness is always being a really tough and tedious task, There is not any data sheet, or recommendation in general. Here I'm selecting material thickness as per experiences. If you really want to go with calculation method, then must have to calculate all stress for very simple case, but if anything, which is not flat or round then have to have go for FEA analysis, In general, I would say. IF we are going for mass production, we should definitely do FEA analysis, every single part to optimize material thickness. and for special development, select the material thickness as per raw material available thickness for required length and width, also consider material removal allowance (grinding) more material removal allowance for long base plate to achieve flatness. Vibration: Vibration not only depend on material thickness, No matter how thick plate we are using, if machine is dynamic and running near or within its natural frequency machine will vibrate. But yes, Heavy material thickness damp vibration, but it's better to find the natural frequency of machine with FEA Dynamic analysis or field vibration testing and alter the design to avoid machine running frequency from natural frequency range. I had badly faced this problem so many times, machine speed was 20,000 RPM. Vibration limit Vrms 4 mm/s.
