I think Em had it coming and got exactly what was expected after his diss. MGK is a grown man just like Em is and if he really had an issue with the tweet about his daughter he could have pick up the phone and called him. Seeing that MGK has said many times before that he looked up to Em I am quite sure the conversation would have went much differently. But no, Em called everyone but MGK about the tweet. To me after reading the tweet I was like that is really not enough to make a big deal about. Then six year later Em makes a diss about it...really? Do not get me wrong I am a fan of Em but have to admit his last two records we not his best. So much so that his last record was given to me and I gave it back to the person that gave it to me. I was like nope, not the Em I known. Full disclosure I am from Cleveland and will support those artists from my hometown period. However, MGK held his own and made it count bar after bar. He did it in two days with the diss and the video.

You missing a lot of facts bro... Eminem was never going to diss MGK on a track JUST because of the tweet about Hailey. He did blackball him but never dissed him on the mic. Since that incident MGK has repeatedly taken little shots at Eminem here and there most recently dissing him in a track he did with tech n9ne, which is the point at which Eminem decided to fire back with his half a verse diss in Not Alike. So Em isn't mad just about a tweet from 6 years ago, it's been more than that. MGK even says in this song that he got a phone call about the tweet and was asked to apologize. At this point it seems like he probably told Eminem to fuck off. So your whole "a phone call would've fixed everything" idea makes no sense. With that said, MGK goes hard af in this song but even some his own claims aren't fully factual. Some of those bars are still gona hurt Eminem though. Hoping he fires back hard.

Em can get lyrical and talk so much trash on mgk mock him, make fun of him, or what have you? but at the end true rap fans aside from lyrics we like to hear facts not made up little stories or trash talking. what mgk did reminded me of what b rabbit did at the end of 8mile when he said "now tell them something they don't know about me" but he had just laid everything out giving the other dude no room to talk, that's exactly how MGK sounded like. obviously it was delivered and cleverly done. There is no doubt that MGK straight sold out on that song. However, anybody that knows him, knows that he can't battle like that, and Eminem can. What he did was tie a rope around his neck extremely tight.... With a locking slip knot.... waiting for Eminem to grab the loose end. part of me believes they're both in on this because of Eminem's response. And the speed in which MGK release that song approximately 17 hours after the album dropped. There is no way he came up with that overnight. I will say that it was well written and probably one of his best diss tracks ever produced. Now off to the Eminem retaliation... The blood bath.
