Trying to find out how to amplify the output or change the circuit to increase the sound. Any help much appreciated. Thank you, Peter

Nice video; however, not sure what the 557 is doing, works with or without it.

How to conect to amplifier because if I connect to amplifier and use toa speaker the voice not like mechine gun if I don't use amplifier the voice like mechine gun?

Can you remove the transistor so the sound is not amplified ?

I built this and it works. I am, however, unsure of the purpose of the transistor and all of its associated components. On my oscilloscope the power to pins 4 and 8 is relatively constant and not switched by the transistor, starting and stopping chip operation. Removing the transistor, the 100uF, 10uF and 100k associated with it gives essentially the ticking circuit from the previous video in this series. The oscillations with or without the transistor are essentially the same on my oscilloscope. What am I missing? Can someone explain the purpose of all the additional components?

I'm a little confused here too, I built the previous circuit (Tick Tock one) and replaced the 10uf capacitor with a 0.47uf one and it gives me a perfect machine gun sound. I then connected it to a PAM8406 Stereo Digital Amplifier Board and it sounds really nice. so why all the extra components here ?
@NevesProjects24 күн бұрын
Ok, from my understanding (after looking at other circuits) those components are to reduce electrical noise going to the speaker

Why use a pnp transistor instead of using a npn transistor

Great work. I need this same circuit but with a different sound. A higher pitch aound like a laser shot sound effect. Imagine a laser machine gun sound. Can you help.

That'll be a different circuit altogether. See if this helps: images.app.goo.gl/sCB63omHz12kpaQA8
