Dude I'm a fan. I love what you said about racism in metal. I'm a lead guitarist, and I love metal and rock. I am also black. Thanks for your stance and conviction on the subject. I will be sharing this with my community. Love forever. Peace brother.

ROBB FLYNN.....This song came into my life shortly after it was released. Already being a fan of yours, and the song is so well done, I loved it instantly. Over the past year, I've suffered a major mental breakdown, was diagnosed with having bipolar disorder, and literally hit the reset button on knowing who I was for the last 36 years. I am a filmmaker in Los Angeles. I am not fully musically gifted, however music drives my being and my soul. During my recovery, this song re-entered my life and hit me tremendously. "Live my life like I'll die tonight. Dream like I'll live forever." These words have become my mantra. I recite them daily. I randomly stumbled across this KZbin video and am so happy I did. The part early on when you are writing the lyrics at 5:30am and you say something to the effect of, you don't know why, but you feel like this song is important? I'll tell you how important it was for me...this song has helped save my life. Period. Dot. Period. End of Story. Dot. Things are going incredibly well for me now, this isn't a somber note. But after watching this video and seeing the story behind the creation of a song that means so f***ing much to me, inspired me to write a lengthy comment below to just say how appreciative I am for what you stand for, brother. I've done my research and I know you're a f***ing beast. Keep inspiring, and I can't wait to someday shake your hand and tell you thanks in person. God bless.

I'm still amazed MacEachern filled in the bass-spot so easily and natural. It doesn't seem like an easy job filling in Machine Head going 20 years strong, in a situation where the former bassist left with a lot of BS. I can hear this chorus being song along WIDELY by ANY crowd in the near future!

Gweilo or gwai lo (鬼佬; Cantonese gwai2 lou2, pronounced [kʷɐ̌i lǒu] ( listen)) is a common Cantonese slang term for Westerners. In its unmodified form, it applies only to European ethnicities and has a history of racially deprecatory use. Cantonese speakers frequently use "gweilo" to refer to Westerners in general use, in a non-derogatory context, although whether this type of usage is offensive is disputed by both Cantonese and Westerners alike

It's so fucking awesome to see what goes on behind the scenes like this, to see you guys working and having some jokes and wanting to show the fans what goes on, it really humanises you guys. You may be Kings of metal, but you're also just people like the rest of us which makes me feel (in a non crazy way) like I not only have a personal connection to your music, but to you guys as well (I'm not crazy, I swear...
