Hola!!!, te escribo desde chile. Veo tus videos y los escucho con subtítulos en español. Agradezco lo que estás compartiendo me ha servido mucho. Aún estoy aprendiendo a manejar mi passap duo 80. Me ha costado mucho la separación de tejido, escote y bies de hombro. En tus videos he podido apreciar que es posible y me ha dado ánimo. Agradecería continuaras con tus videos. Gracias

Thank you for this consideration. I was hoping the information about pricing could be casually included with upcoming videos even if just a part of the description or an outake at the end of a video. Something simple that hopefully would encourage others to contribute similar information in the comments from their local areas. It would also help others in shopping for supplies that work with their machines. Craft stores generally, in the states at least, do not carry the correct yarns for these machines.
@ZabbezOriginalАй бұрын
I totally understand 🙌🏻 It is the same here in Europa, I find shopping for yarn supplies for these machines actually one of the most difficult things too, just like everybody else 🤣 I do mention weight and length in my video's so everybody can compare it to yarns available where they live. And be assured when the day comes I got it all figured out I will definitely try to incorporate it in my video's.

I get lost trying to figure out what yarn I should use.

Oh. You can find a Passap Selbu mitten pattern, Passap Model Book 1 instruction pages 20 and 21 if I am remembering correctly. They are hand manipulated chart images or use a Jac40 and punch card. I dont think the Deco would work but I dont have a DM80 to know for sure.
@ZabbezOriginalАй бұрын
Yes, I love those mittens. I have the paper version of Model Book 1 too ;-) I think there also is a quick and easy uni colored mittens pattern in one of the earlier model books too. Although not sure if I am going to do a video about it anytime soon as I am currently already recording something else. But it is definitely on my to do list 🤣

Have you heard of wraps per inch? Some times this is my fall back to checking if a particular yarn will work. Many yarn labels now also state this information.
@ZabbezOriginalАй бұрын
Have heard of it yes, but never really used it. So far I have been working with the Numero Metric yarn count (Nm) for the length of yarn per weight. Maybe it is more commonly here in Europe? Don't really know. Wraps per inch does sound very reliable too though as it might be more accurate for the exact thickness. Will look into it. Thanks!

Weeral een mooi product afgeleverd ;-)) . Heb je ook al met een deco op de Passap gewerkt ? Is een uitdaging denk ik ....
@ZabbezOriginalАй бұрын
Dank je wel! Ja ik heb al met een deco gewerkt bij iemand anders op hun machine. En gelukkig heb ik er hier zelf ook eentje liggen die ik nog ga installeren. Video daarover volgt nog 😀

I bought but haven’t used a Passap e6000. Do you think you will do KZbin videos on this machine?
@galaxythree4653Ай бұрын
So far he is showing basics that are the same on both machines and necessary to know before engaging the E6000 console. I have an E6000.
@ZabbezOriginalАй бұрын
I would love to do video's on the E6000 also, but unfortunately I do not own one. Luckily you can use all my current video's for the Duomatic 80 on the E6000 too 👍🏻😀

Again beautifully done. All you need now are selbu mittens and you are all set for winter. It would be awesome if your descriptions included the names of yarns and size used as well as cost and amount used of what was purchased. It would also be fun to know what these items would cost in your area and others could chime in with the price of these items in their areas. Yes I know we don't knit for price. It is for the love of learning and doing. Still pricing of materials and similar items is interesting. Machine knitters also have the advantages of custom fit and designs. Your finishings are also well done.

A great idea! I would love to make content about about pricing, yarns and compare it to ready to wear. Already have some idea's, so hopefully I will be able to find the time. My current list of planned video's well exceeds next year hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
