Do you have a video on how to decrease shape this neckline? I've been trying to find one that ends up with this shape. Thanks so much for your videos!

Hi Natalia, thanks for the question. Do you mean how to make the center part short and the sides longer so you can add trim and make the neckline look rounded like this? Let me know, I should have videos on how I do the whole neckline, I can upload.

@@eddys_brand Thank you for responding! Yes, I've only done neckline shaping with holding. I'd love to make a neckline with that decrease edge (3 lean stitches + 1 k2tog?) I'd really appreciate it!

Pls what difference does a double bed gives, to a single bed?
@eddys_brand2 жыл бұрын
A double bed allows the creation of rib texture. In this case, I created a 1x1 rib. You have a stitch on the main bed followed by a stitch on the bottom bed, alternating each needle. Let me know if that clear, or if you need more info.

Can you explain what you mean by wrapping the yarn...? Are you wrapping it just around the adjacent needle?
@eddys_brand4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jason, thanks for the question. Wrapping the yarn around the needle is part of short rowing, which is how I created the neckline. Short rowing is created by placing some needles on HOLD and knitting only part of the row. If you're placing 5 needles on HOLD for 2 rows, you would first HOLD only 4 needles, knit 1 row, then HOLD the 5th needle, and knit the second row. This makes the yarn wrap around that last needle which helps to prevent what would look like a hole if you just moved all 5 needles and knit 2 rows. Does that make sense? Search for shorts rowing videos on here to see this in action, there are tons of examples. Good luck!

Literally no one shows hanging the ribber comb 😭

I had it hanging from the beginning of the knitting. However, it's pretty simple. You knit 1 row of 1x1 rib (you should have a zig-zag of yarn), then remove the wire from the ribber comb. Insert the pins from the bottom up through the zig-zag (each pin should more-or-less come through each zig-zag to create an even weight distribution). Re-insert the wire into the ribber comb and add your weights. Continue knitting. Let me know if you'd like a quick vid, I can mock one up.
