@codebasics Everything is working fine except it's not printing on the frontend and when the button is clicked it's showing undefined in the console. Please I have gone through the comments and someone also had the same issue but you didn't respond, please kindly respond as it's quite urgent

Most likely there is an error either on frontend or at the server end. Can you check server logs to see if you got any issue there? Else you need to check front end logs, for this you can hit F12 key (on windows system), it will open the browser debugger where you need to select Console tab. Here you will see if there are any errors.

I’ve checked both of them (frontend and server) line by line, and there are no errors because I cross checked with your code. At the console, when the button is clicked, it shows “undefined” and because it’s “undefined” the toString() tool won’t work on it. At the very least it should show the result on the console but it isn’t showing that. Please if you don’t mind you can drop your mail and I’ll send you pictures of what I’m talking about

Hey. Here some things that might be happening: - U need to standarize the data. (depends if you standarazied teh DF in the ML modeling part.) - The part: x = [0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0] x[0] = float(vari2) x[1] = float(vari3) x[2] = float(vari4) if loc_index >= 0: x[loc_index] = 1 x = np.array(x) I made it like that becuz I cant change the array values into floats. so I oncverted the list into an array after declaring the values for each x index. - FINALLY AND MOST IMPORTANT: datacolumns = ["carat", "depth", "table", "cut_Fair", "cut_Good", "cut_Ideal", "cut_Premium", "cut_Very Good"] try: loc_index = datacolumns.index(vari1.tolower()) except: loc_index= -1 if your datacolumns list or json has CAITAL LETTERS like the one above. It means that the try and except part will catch it and CONVERT it into LOWER, and then it will seek the value and give it a -1. because it will not find the LOWERED value in the DATACOLUMNS cuz in the datacolumn exists CAPITAL LETTERS. HENCE it will give you a bad result. NOW in case your DATACOLUMNS * HAS NOT* Capital letters then I dunno what is going on

Amazing content! I have tried to simulate the project. I have one question. Suppose I dont want to load the locations automatically and just take a text input for locality. What changes should I make to the app.js script? I am stuck here. My flask server responds with prediction to postman application but as soon as try to get response from the html page its throws a localbound error. Can you give me some suggestions? Like what should be the action on windows.onpageload as I dont have a page load function like you. I am taking input directly from the users for location.

its because pickling the model. you must have build model at any other place and trying to unpickle that on another place, so because of version mismatch you got an error. Do everything on your local machine.

Use vscode live server extension or you need to install flask-cors...also converting estimated price into string at utils level would help ...but its not the way to overcome CORS access denied problem

I solved it by first changing all the {total_sqft: parseFloat(sqft.value), bhk: bhk, bath: bathrooms, location: location.value} to a fixed value to see if there are any errors. If no errors, then 1 by 1 replace them with the variables/function to see which one is causing the 400 error

Hi, I have also faced same issue .First debug ur *.css file in Visual studio editor. Then try to run HTML file in chrome . Please check ur code for onClickEstimateprice, address path must same as Postman App..

OK, for me it worked when I rerun the util and server. Then run the get and post request in postman. Then I refresh the browser and checked. Everything went OK.
