At first, I thought, you have the patience of a saint but, then, I can see how relaxing it is to just meander around, making decisions based on how the quilt speaks to you. Don’t get me wrong, you are an artist, this takes a lot of skill. Enjoyed watching, the quilt turned out so beautiful.

Wow, your client’s hand stitching is so even and your quilting really enhances the appliqué. You really have an artist’s eye for quilting. Thanks for sharing. It’s so mesmerizing.💕

It feels like you quilt with such freedom...I find that the quilting seems much more fluid on a long arm than with a sit down mid arm...practice will help i am sure....thank you for sharing your gift

I love how you stressed that the quilting is to enhance the piece work, not over take it. It really made the pieces pop. Thanks for sharing!

That's really my intent with all of my machine quilting. Just accent the piecing!❤❤

Love the special quilting but will you show your other hand and let me know when you do. I am a see and do type person. Thank you Bonnie! WOW how many rulers are you using on this quilt names please?

Thank you for sharing. I would like to see the back of your quilt. Sometimes when I "travel" on previously stitched lines, the stitching on the back looks really thick and heavy.

This quilt is totally not my style but your quilting really made it and took it to the next level!

When you do a quilt like this one, how closely do you work with your clients? I think it looks amazing, I can see how it might be important to work with a client to make sure you are on the same page about the quilting.
@NataliaBonner5 жыл бұрын
It all depends on the client and the quilt. The quilts I quilt are so specific there is not one size fits all formula. However, the majority of what I share are my ideas. 😘😍

Your work is beautiful . You a very special aesthetic that's all you . I would be interested to know how many times did you change thread color and whether that affected how you worked around the quilt.

Do you preplan your quilting movements ahead of time?

I have to stop and start a fair amount and you went easily from section to section.

@@campannette It completely depends on the quilt. I do go more into my planning process over on my Patreon page, www.patreon.com/nataliabonner :)

That was an interesting quilt top but it turned into an amazing quilt. I could have watched all the quilting but it finished all too soon for me.

I do not understand this quilt. It is so odd to me. Maybe once it's quilted it will make sense, but as it is its just the strangest thing I've ever seen. I just don't get why someone would take the time to make this..... Now that I went to the end I have to say that the quilting literally transformed this quilt into a work of art. You're pretty incredible Natalia!

Thanks... quilts are art, and it's okay to appreciate art even if it's not something you'd make.
