Hi Angela - i love your challenges! You talked about playing (changing) thread colors in the background area around the motif. I love this idea! Here’s my question: the colors blend from 9ne to another,….. do you have a rule of thumb or suggestion of where in the design to make that switch? Along the outer edge? Center? Overlap a but? Just wondering. Thanks. Barb

Hi, are you using a backing fabric with your top fabric? Or are you making a quilt sandwich or not using any other fabric with your top? Thanks

@angela Walter’s I can’t seem to get comments sent while it’s live. You’ve said previously no regulator on your long arm. I’m wondering is there a stitch speed control or do you just move it for the speed? I got the mini quilt frame by Grace that moves the carriage like a long arm version but your own sewing machine sits on the carriage wondering if a speed controller instead of the foot would be recommended?

Question - When do you work on a sitdown machine vs a longer? Is it simply the size - small for sit-down and big for longer or do you factor in the quilting that you plan to do? And, do you ever do both for the same quilt?
