Signing in to watch this later. Still haven’t started as I am still recovering from a broken wrist. Frustrated as I’m usually doing this with the videos but that’s life. I’ll get to this eventually and will enjoy the videos and chats. The universe has given me a message to slow down!

You are awesome and fun. You have inspired me to try a guilt. I have retired and don't need to sew garments anymore. Thank for providing me so many giggles. 😊

And one more thing… I’m not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, but I love how the printed material can also act as practice lines for swirls. They are set a little close but if every other line is “followed” it comes out to about 1/4 in between lines. Kind of helps me to figure out how to move around the border lines to get to the next spot. Anyway, I think this is a great idea for the future panels, too. Maybe it’s too guided, but I love it when I can’t figure out what to put where. Thanks!

Thank you Angela for all the great tips. I had to laugh when you mentioned at the end about motivation. If I’m making a quilt for someone else, I have no problem staying motivated and push myself to have it done by a certain day. But for myself NEVER. I loose motivation, interest etc and start another quilt. I have about 20 tops ready to quilt.LOL I love finishing and the pride of doing it myself but after piecing to quilting I need help!!!

How do you get the tension right? Can you tell me I am making a Quilt of Valor but have no idea how to quilt it. I also have never had good luck with the threads like gold. Do you have any suggestions? I am trying to learn how to FMQ but have no clue . it;s so hard and you make it look so easy. I love what you do and how.

I’m relearning my rulers with this quilt top too…except DOT. (i still do not know how to use that to actually do dot to dot quilting) I wish in new what the ruler lines stood for. Eventually I will figure it out!
