Look up asahi valves, you might like em. Japanese made. Their pvc ball valves have a very smooth action and they hold up very well. Those orange handled ones youve got there tend to go a little stiff over time. We replaced my old chemical plant with asahi and its awesome stuff. Also oatry makes clear primer you can use if your work doesnt require any 3rd party inspection. Youre pipe joints will look alot neater. I personally hate seeing that purple splashed all over the pipes but ya some inspectors insist on seeing that mess to know it was done "right".

I have been in many injection mold factories and I have seen so much plastic pipe. I even worked at one that used copper pipe. The facility is work in uses galvanized pipe for water and black pipe for air. Can you explain the benefits of plastic pipe over metallic pipe?

Plastic for water is definitely the way to go. I’d doesn’t corrode. It’s cheaper, it’s lighter, and it’s easier to repair on the fly. Not to mention it has some give so it’s less susceptible to water hammer. Just my thoughts, but for industrial water delivery. Sch 80 PVC is the way to go

Is that PVC-U or just regular PVC? I am a facilty maintenance tech for a green house. Most of our pipes are PVC-U. We constantly have blowouts using PVC glue. Found we needed Tangit PVC-U. We waited for it to come from Europe, and we used JB Weld while we waited.

This is just regular Sch 80 PVC from grainger. And the grey industrial glue from Oatey. Never had any issues. Great combination!

​@@dansproshop sch. 80 is the way to go. Oatey makes good stuff too. We did alot of work with clear PVC and they've got great clear PVC glue and primer.
