@@CallMeKC06 that's because they copied it from him (just like how they copied and continuing to copy his stage presence). But what makes it clear that it's all an act is that (unlike with MGK) all of their "heart of gold" personas aren't truly genuine. They don't even believe half of the things they say in their lyrics half of the time (Flo Rida's "I Cry" is proof of this) and, 90% of the time, they haven't experienced those things (like MGK had).

So fucking amazing!! I'm so excited for this Saturday night!!! I finally get the chance to see MGK live in concert here in Vancouver just a mere 7 blocks from where I live. My only regret is that I have not managed to save my wife from the insidiously evil monster who has been drugging her since December of 2020. He has been using the devil's breath. It's a mind control drug used by thieves and rapists to prey upon unsuspecting women that basically eliminates their free will. Even with the drug and with me bed ridden by a life threatening leg infection it still took him almost 7 months to poison her against me to the point where she threw me out of our apartment, and a week later moved him in under the pretense that she needed him there to protect her from me. Anyone who knows me knows what a ridiculous crock of shit that whole idea is. I would never lay a hand on her in anger. As a matter of fact I don't think I raised my voice to her even once in the whole time we were together. I still love her with all of my heart even though she has ended every letter, text or email that she has sent me since September with Fuck off and go kill yourself. She has written those words to me more than 50 times. At first those words hurt more than you can possibly imagine but the more times she wrote it the more I realized that those words were coming from him and not from her. The one saving grace and the one bit of Joy I've had in my life in over a year is the fact that every time she sees me for a split second less than half a second her eyes light up in her face almost begins to smile and then the programming clamps down and she looked at me with hatred and fear and derision and has acid on her tongue when she talks to me and it rips my heart out every fucking time. So Colson, if you could dedicate Saturday night's show to Cassandra, Cassandra Elkin, it would mean the world to me. And maybe one day, it could mean the world to her too. So I will be there cheering my heart out and singing every song as loud as I can and trying not to think about the empty seat beside me (of course I bought her a ticket) and maybe, with the grace of God, I may manage to survive long enough to free her from him and she might one day remember that she still loves me and possibly by the next time that you come to Vancouver she may just be there next to me cheering and singing and dancing her ass off; were that to happen she would make me the happiest man in the world. MGK has something that most people dont and cant have and I can't exactly pinpoint what it is but something about the way he spits his lyrics. Comes out raw. He's probably been through and lived through a hell that most of us couldn't even fathom. He's lived, been at rock bottom and I can see that. Any talented rapper can read the same verse but cant deliver what MGK has. And to me, that is his spirit and heart. I hope whatever road is to come for him after the Rap devil track, and his sudden explosion into the spotlight, I pray that he never loses his heart through all the fame and money.
@bigassdawg6 жыл бұрын
I agree. Honestly one of my favorites. I pray to god that he ends up ok too, I’m really scared for him, you never know what could happen to someone who probably took on so much emotional stress from the whole eminem shitfest. Imo a music video conveys a very powerful message sometimes, and maybe Kells felt that if he only used part of the song it would reinforce the message, as opposed to using the whole song, which may not fit into the theme of the video. I agree it sucks that it's not the whole song but I think that's why he did it.

Lyrics : [Verse] Look What if money wasn't part of success? Would the people I used to be friends with never left? What if making a name didn't come with regrets? I think that fame's a pre-cursor to death: Death of a friendship Death of a family Death of a man The misunderstood are always dead before 'they' understand Staring at ceiling fans, chop up milligrams, draw a pentagram Lucifer's not a rumor he's in the band, (damn) Liquor and vomit on my Converse Bright lights and packed concerts And right next to the gun that's on my dresser are plastic orange bottles of peer pressure And I'm ready to cave, I live in a cage How can I be a hero when I'm the one needing saved 48 hour days of this fast lane living Me and my entourage no Jeremy Piven, listen It's better to burn out than fade away is what Kurt said I felt the same until I saw his daughter and thought as a father What if tomorrow; the only I could spoil her was dying? Started crying then popped a valium turned up the volume Turn up the volume Turn up the volume Turn up the volume Turn up the volume [Hook] For all that it's worth To live in the spotlight All of my demons come to life And all that it was And all that it could be Is lost in the darkness of the night Why should I die? (to live in the spotlight) Why should I kill myself for you? You'd let me die? (to live in the spotlight) You'd let me die inside for you... [Outro] So what you do when the cop lights Turn into a stage and a spotlight? And everyone around you starts to hate cause you got right And feel entitled like I'm supposed to stop living my life? Well this ain't 2Pac This ain't Em's show This ain't Jigga man This that Kells flow This that C-town 19-double-X rep so Welcome to my life here's a ticket to the next show, spotlight Welcome to my life here's a ticket to the next show
