I feel the need to thank you, Robb Flynn. At the show in Copenhagen (Saturday, november the 29th) you asked who were at a Machine Head concert for the first time. I raised “the horns”, and you looked at me, pointed at me and said: “You’ve got a Pass!” I can’t describe how much that means to me! My sister and I were at Vega when the doors opened, and we got a spot in front of the stage. When Machine Head started playing, I was in a 2 hour long “fight” with some guys, who kept pushing me, hitting me in the back, my head and my arm, trying to take my spot. I have quite a few bruises ;) What I want to tell you is that I really appreciate your comment! You saw me struggling to keep in front of the stage, standing my ground, and singing along, horns in the air! Your comment gave me renewed energy, and you played (one of) my favorits “Halo” \m/ \m/ Thank you! I hope to experience a Machine Head concert again soon, please think about visiting Copenhell in 2015!!! ;)  Hugs and “horns” from the woman in the black dress, with the long black hair.

This is the song years ago that made me like machine head. I've been a fan for years and yet all my friends still listen to bands that will never make music again like they did, for one reason or another. I wish I knew people that loved the music I do and had the ability to perform so I could, in my opinion, better myself and one day be a part, even if I went no where with it, of the metal culture in my own way. I wish I was more then just a fan.

Watching this video again in early 2015, I can't help but thinking: what if this video portrayed a Muslim cleric instead of a Catholic one? Can you imagine the scandal?? I've been a fan of Machine Head for a few years now, but where I live it's quite hard to get good metal CDs and the download speed means that I would probably pay the double the amount a CD would cost in electricity which means that I haven't been able to get a hold of 'The Blackening' for quite a while. I finally got it for Christmas and upon hearing it for the first time, I actually shed a tear over what I'd missed in my life. Thank you for this masterpiece Machine Head. You are amazing. \m/
