In this video I put a few designs together and machined my own ball turner
These are Only things from amazon that I personally like and buy for my own shop.
Flex Zilla retractable extention cord reel----- amzn.to/3ew4dce ----- Awesome tool to have I have 2. Theyre good quality but expensive (worth it in my opinon)
40-Pc wire wheel brushes for drill or die grinder----- amzn.to/3bajcX6 ----- Good selection of various wire wheels and theyre cheap.
LocTite 603----- amzn.to/3tuT8wn ----- I mean its loctite not much to say works great
Metabo flat head grinder----- amzn.to/3tzRadX ----- Metabo flat head grinder best of the best German made angle grinder for getting in tight spots ( I know the price sucks)
Dykem layout fluid 2 pack------- amzn.to/3etNXbK ----- blue layout fluid 2 pack (its alittle cheaper than buying 1)
Markal Pro holder starter kit----- amzn.to/3hcago7 ----- This is the silver streak pencil you always see on my channel for laying out steel I love it (expensive but all the good stuff is)
Starrett automatic center punch----- amzn.to/3y74YAq ------ Awesome starrett auto center punch that you see in my vids love it best there is
Scotch brite deburring wheel----- amzn.to/33r8Td3 ----- this is the bench grinder wheel that I love puts almost mirror finish on steel and deburrs also lasts a long time ( make sure you get the right arbor size)
Precision twist drill index----- amzn.to/3ergxum ------this is the 115 piece drill index you see on my channel all the time......they have been great for me and they arent chinese
Walter flap discs----- amzn.to/3hatCd8 -----these are the flap discs you see on all my grinders. they are the best there are german made and trimable for longer use the only kind i use ( but very expensive)
Noga mister------ amzn.to/3h86P1L ----- This the little noga mister that I use on my mill it works well for the bridgeport
BXA tool post ------ amzn.to/2T0rBGw ------ this is the quick change toolpost and tool holders set (size BXA) that i bought for my lathe its chinese but good quality I have been very happy with it
Racheting tap handle -------- amzn.to/3wSJRAm ------ this is the racheting tap handle you see me use all the time, I bought mine at harbor frieght originally but theyre chinese made and are identical probbably made in the same factory
music from this guy awesome stuff

@@westweld Really novel take on the ball turner. Mounting it via the QCTP is a really clever. It really highlights that a QCTP can be so much more than just for basic tooling. Just a thing for future videos do a bit of an intro where you are describing what your building or going to build. This is novel in that you are mounting it off the tool post but that isn't obvious until right near the end. So a some of what you were making at times wasn't very clear as to purpose. Some stuff was obvious but how it was all going to go together and work wasn't so clear.

Absolutely nice work. I'm a convert made my living doing hi end wood projects ,circular stairs, custom furniture all the fun stuff a lot of no budget make her happy jobs! That said I'm converting more to steel projects. After all a cut is a cut its all the same but different! I appreciate your videos it helps ,my sor spots are what tooling and fixtures, clamping.

god damn dude, this is just some solid freakin machining. beautiful camera work too. I'm pretty new to machining, been at it for just a bit under a year now, and sometimes I get discouraged because there is a lot to learn and sometimes problems can be difficult to track down. but every now and then I find a guy like you on youtube, just making beautiful parts and making crunchy, thick-ass chips, and it always gets me back in the shop with that extra motivation needed to tackle something I've been putting off, or maybe just to be less lazy about something. thanks for taking the time to make these videos on top of all the work you did to make the part. really man, thanks.

Nice production and project! I especially appreciate that you sanded nearly every surface. I almost ended up making one of these myself for my current project that needed a large radius fillet cut on the lathe. Found a way around it using the mill and a collet indexer instead. I’ll have a need for this in the future I’m sure… even if I use it just 3 times

Your industrial love story here is some of the best camera and lighting work I have ever seen. A visual tour de force. Siskel and Ebert just gave it a 2 thumbs up, and Siskel has been dead for years! The review is as follows: When the Android overlords destroy the world, out of respect for the man that made this movie, he will be the last of humanity, and they will keep him in a diorama of his workshop until he dies of natural causes (Shop accident) And then they will keep his body for spare parts. You Good Sir have a natural instinct for color saturation, and lense filter choices, we salute you. Seriously you need to do a video on your video techniques, equipment and your thoughts on what effects your production decisions during filming. Then, even the art school chicks will want to turn your lathe. I do advertising and lead generation, I would love to have a guy like you in reserve when I need you. Pm me.

You're very methodical and organized in every department - work holding, gauging, tool storage, machining, design. Loved the quality of the weld and how you take care of the surface finishes on all parts. Love your vacuuming of chips and keeping everything neat and tidy. Superb camera work and video editing. You're a rising star - burn big, bright and long! I would like if you could describe the project in short beforehand do that we know how everything falls into place. I was scratching my head all along what a ball turner could be! Keep it up man, love your work! And don't you dare not call yourself a Machinist!
