Machining Aluminum Mount for the Starlink Mini

Fabricating an antenna mount for installation of a Starlink Mini dish on a boat. This is intended for use in marinas, at the dock, but not at sea, where a special Starlink marine service is used.

The mount OD will have a manufacturer's tolerance. The OD on the first mount was on the low end of the tolerance, and the one already mounted on the boat was probably on the high side of the tolerance. There is an ASME or ASTM standard that controls tolerances for pipe, which is what the mount manufacturer is most likely using.

I don’t have a machine shop at home, so I have been searching for A fitting that would screw onto the standard 1 inch NPS bass on my radar mast. The top part would fit into the mini pull out base. It would leave the mini at the manufacturers recommended angle. You think a simple fitting like that would be readily available(1 inch ID female NPS)? But I haven’t found anything. Your solution is elegant, but beyond my capabilities.

I found an NPSH female to NPT male adapter that might help. Not sure if the NPSH (fire hose) works with NPS? It might. You want the dish horizontal.
