I thread from left to right which eliminates the pucker factor and the thread relief cut. Turn your tool upside down and face of the part which gives you your D R O zero.Move your threading tool to the thread length toward the chuck and thread as usual.once you learn from left to right you will never crash again guaranteed. JOE PIE WHO taught me this has a video how to do this on KZbin.
