Jim Cornette was asked if there was an era when Randy Savage wouldn’t be successful. He said he couldn’t think of one. Maybe the 1940s, but even then he would stand out. Savage is just, somehow, timeless.

They didn't have scripts back then it was all freestyle ..they would just have bullet points to cover and just let rip ..that's why it was so good..nobody could write for the macho man he was the macho man ..he lived it 24/7..all the hand movements and gestures was his natural reaction ...they didnt even have writers then..it was just mcmahon and patterson booking the territory with a pencil and ledger book...

For a brief period 1990-1993 (I was in my early 30's) I was really hooked on WWF for it's entertainment value. I looked forward to Razor Ramone, The Undertaker and his minion Paul bearer, I particularly liked Doink in his 'evil' incarnation. However, for me the best entertainment value by way of his interviews was good old Randy RIP 😢
