@natalieparker59285 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Watch Savage in the late 70s and early 80s and he's the same old Macho Man you see 10 years later in WWF. He's just 'different' or 'primitive sounding' in this video..
@shaolin1derpalm5 жыл бұрын
I think from here to his memphis run was best. His wwf run was missing "do the thing" and "confetti".
@ericjackson76323 жыл бұрын
@@shaolin1derpalm He did it early on. A lot on 1985 and it gradually fell off. By 1987 it was full on WWF Macho Man. Still great but Savage was more raw in ICW and Memphis. Almost reminds me of Austin in 1996 & 1997 verses 1998 onward.
@shaolin1derpalm3 жыл бұрын
@@ericjackson7632 agree. Actually when he said "Elizabeth! Do the thing!" I was happy. I grew up on wwf macho. I hated him lol. Not in the good way. I refused to watch his matches. But I eventually came around. But "Confetti! Don't tell me nothin' man!" Is just so epic. His best wwf promos to me were his Hot Dogg'n and Grandstand'n, and his late era interview "It's okay, not really".

WWE will never let anyone become another Macho Man or Hulk Hogan. They script em to death. I saw a few years back that there's some serious charismatic talent being dragged to hell by the way they do things. Even Mojo Rawley when you took him off the script showed some actual character and personality. Vince McMahon is the problem with wrestling and always has been since he kill the territories. Him and Kevin Dunn hate wrestling yet it's the only damn thing that made them money.
