It is hard to listen to this guy as he doesn't answer the question being asked and just goes up tangents. A good interviewer wouldn't let someone go on tangents. My own take is that secular Jews saw first hand anti-Semitism and this view of groups wanting self rule was a common ideology of the time in Europe. Religious Jews sad to say fit ugly sterotypes sometimes that make those who don't like Jews happy and sadly some of these religious Jews that were just used as token Jews to fit an ugly stereotype didn't realize that those who they thought liked them were only using them because they fit an ugly stereotype.

He is telling it exactly right! In order for Israel to rise above human existence; they had to raise themselves above expectations. When I first learned this reality, I felt I connected with an ideology far above, and more excellent than regular belief; a part of a lost role of Israel, in which Zionism called me out for. How else can we bring or meet the Messianic Era? Zionism, a state of readiness for commitment with HaShem; according to his requirement in which their is an attachment to the land. When I think of the Medieval Jew, I see a slandered Hebrew, mocked and me-lined for his cultural aspiration of Europe through Judaism, and having spent his zeal to envelope a part of Europe for the sake of Zionism. Yet a delima prevents these now from attaching with the other Hebrew, through this secular exhibit, that is ingrained like a record, for preservation; while the Israelis are as it were a living constitution of the returned state of existence, of a heavenly manifestation; before the unavailing of the basamikdash. In the State of Israel, Torah and Tanahk take on a revision that exhibits HaShem's reality.

Today's Israel(unlike ancient Israel) was founded as a secular republic & it is simply named after a biblical nation. The founders of modern Israel we're not only secular Zionist but also (self described) atheist and socialist. Perhaps, one of them known is David Gurion,the first Israeli president. In fact Modern Israel is already has a progressive stance on homosexual and women rights. Israel is a liberal,secular and humanitarian country, compared to the middle East. There is no biblical support for modern Zionism nor for the Modern State of Israel.In fact the bible only talks about ancient Israel but never modern Israel. While ancient Israel was once a faithful country blessed by God but later turned against God's law and thefore lost God's favor by rejecting Jesus as the Messiah,but today's Israel is NEVER a faithful country . In fact today's Israel NEVER accepted God's laws or the Bible or any other religious text. In the Israeli constitution, there is no mentioning of God ,Jesus, or the Prophet Abraham. At one time, observers wanted the writers to put God in the constitution but it was opposed by secularist. They put "the Rock of Israel" instead of God. Christian Zionism as a myth and a misconception as the myth that Jesus was born on December 25th .
