Cool. Just a tip if you flip the excavator around the other direction and set the pusher blade on the ground so it is on the same side you are digging on, it will be a lot more stable.

I tried it both ways and found that for the digging I am doing, the blade to the rear is much more helpful than the blade to the front. I am attempting to dig as deep of a trench as possible, to the point I maxed out the machine's motion limits on the end stops, and the blade down on the rear helps tip the machine forward which gives me a couple extra inches of digging depth. In addition when I boom down into the dirt, the blade to the rear shifts the pivot point further back and allows me to dig downwards more effectively than I can with the blade forward, pivoting on the rear of the tracks.

I'm not sure which off the shelf one fits, I'm going to purchase a cylinder from princess auto and modify the stock one to accept it.
