This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact kzbin.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

I was in a similar situation as my machine was in the middle of a descaling program and I didn’t know. So I tried to take out the brewing group but the arrows didn’t match. In my case I just opened and closed the door until the two arrows would match and I could pull out the group. Is it worth trying this before turning to the screws.

Great film, but in my opinion it is not necessary to turn off so many times coffee maker because temperature in boiler get lower. I just done whole process like my bigger stationery coffee maker do which runs water with descaling agent dissolved in it every few minutes and that`s it. Important is time. Whole process should take and least 30-40 min.

Depending on the machine’s serial number when you press the steam button for 6 seconds it will start the descaling program signalled by the steam light always on and the entire procedure will change. Fill the tank to the maximum and let the machine to dispense the water from the steam wand every 3 minutes. The cycle has to be performed twice.

What filter are you talking about? After descaling you have to run clean water through the machine to clean it. If you don't want to use that powder you can use vinegar. It does the same job. After descaling process you have to hold right steam button until the light turns off. It will not turn off automatically. Also if other lights are blinking, I found that turning the knob on the top and releasing some steam or water resets them too. Try that. Hope this helps.
