horsepower (440 HP) and torque (1,660 lb-ft) across a wide operating
range, the MP®8 delivers the muscle to shoulder heavy-duty workloads.
6X4 AXLE AND SUSPENSION CONFIGURATION
The Mack front axle and rear Meritor® axle coupled with 70K parabolic
leaf suspension provides an unparalleled ride quality with a fully loaded
or empty payload.
ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS
Line Haul challenges the expectations of aerodynamic design with a bold
look that displaces air to the sides, as well as over the hood and roof, to
cut wind resistance and improve fuel economy by up to 3%. From the
hood slope and fairings to the mirrors and air dam, every component is
engineered to maximize efficiency.
EXTENDED CAB
The 48" flattop extended cab design gives drivers plenty of room to get
comfortable, rest well and stay focused on the road. With full walk through
to sleeping quarters, 12 Volt DC power outlet, dual fire extinguishers,
multiple storage locations under bunk, and convenient control panel.

Wrong! Mack makes every one of their own components. The engine and transmission is also Mack then rebranded for Volvo. Just because Volvo purchased Mack doesn't mean it's a Volvo.
