Mack turbo failure and replacement

In this video we discuss a failed turbo on a Mack MP7 engine and show the replacement of it with a guest appearance from my good friend Diesel Deaner.

When you said 4500 for the turbo, I put mine up for sale. A junk vgt that doesn't last very long, and is full of problems cost 4500.

Yep, mack trucks aren't what they used to be, that's forsure. That was a while ago I changed that turbo. I'm sure the price has increased since then with covid messing up the supply chain.
