Very interesting on this day MM 😊. The Armistice £2 is a lovely coin. We've had some lovely £2 designs over the past few years. Four nice additions of dates to the collection of large 50ps . I do love the Presidency design 😊.

I like that £2 coin as well. Didn't think I would be able to afford it on eBay, but it was good of Dave to send it to me. So I now have all the circulating old style 50ps for a second set, but the Proof only and other BU's will be a bit of a challenge! 😁

I was gonna say about the spear being at a different orientation but Mr Ritchie got in there first 😊 The 1994 DDay was also the coin that got me into collecting 🤗 too. The only 50ps I’m missing from the Big Daddy collection are the 2009 & 2016 shields, the 2011 Aquatics (lines over face) and 2009 Blue Peter Athletics. The last two will be highly expensive and difficult to get! 😁

I’ve moved all my flipped 50ps from the big Viking Direct presentation folder into an Uncle Paul folder. They look much better, and I’m on to the second folder 😁

On that 82 Machin, it wasn’t just the denomination that was different, if you look at the left hand top of the ironside’s Britannia, spear it’s closer than the other one. A bit like Coin Patrol’s 1& 2mm space on the 1922 Penny

I remember Dave finding that NSFC Armistice coin😀 and it being swapped for at a guess, was it Wrong edge on a Shakespeare Tragedies? Possibly.

Hi Gooner, I did mention in that vid where I got them from. It was from The Works and they cost about £2.50 for a pack of 50. I've used them to replace damaged covers on packs I've bought from Ebay, (and even ones from the Royal Mint!) as well as those packs from IOM coins that didn't have covers. I find them ideal, although a little bit large width wise, they more than do the job.
