Dumb question, but what kind of cables do you need for the main outs on this mixer?

Would I be able to use a usb microphone with this mixer if I do that technique where you use a 3.5mm aux cable to 3.5mm aux with adapter or whatever the cable size is for headphone inputs and input that into the mixer so I can use my usb mic?

I can't hear myself on the headphones. The volume knob for headphones is well set. Any ideas? Thanks.

First, have you tried another set of headphones?. And are you using headphones or earbuds that are designed for a phone question mark in other words the plug has the extra ring?
