So I picked it up and its slick. I do find it odd that you cant apply effects to headphones.. I think its a solid kit.. hope they offer many updates..

Thank you very much for the comprehensive review. You answered a lot of questions I had that no other video seemed to answer. You have earned a subscriber :) Two questions: are there vesa holes so that I can mount it on a monitor stand? Is there a possibility to have the db values displayed on the meters?
@micandcampro Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! As far as i can remember (the unit is already sent off to the next reviewer) there are no mounting holes whatsoever. And a db-value display is not implemented yet. But the thing is under ongoing development and Mackie tries to implement as much suggested features as possible. They even ask for ideas on a little note inside the package! 😅 And since a value display should not be that hard to code, it could possibly appear in one of the next updates!

I provided my contact at Mackie with the idea of the db-values display and he liked it! He will even bring it to the developers to-do-list! 😊👍

Thanks for the video... can this mixer be used like their profx or onyx series? In a live dj setting?

Hello! I'm a content creator and I need to know if it's a good idea connect and use mackie dlz creator with a console, like PS5, Xbox or Nintendo Switch. At this moment I'm using the optical digital audio from PS5 with my GOXLR in order to separate the audio in my obs studio... Is it possible also with mackie dlz creator? I checked tthat mackie has not optical digital output... but any other way to plug and separate the audio from PS5 or other console? Thank you a lot for your assistance!

If I just want to do KZbin videos, can I connect this to my Mirrorless camera with all the processing? Too lazy to process audio afterwards.
@micandcampro Жыл бұрын
Well you could connect the output of the mixer to the input of your camera, if your camera has one. You just have to have an eye on the levels, because most cameras only have a mic input, which is very sensitive. So you must turn down the output of the mixer to match that. The processing will work that way, too. 👍

I love this but why is no one covering if this mixer can control certain pc items. example, discord volume, itunes or any music software on the computer volume, system sounds, and so on.. I would love someone to make a intense video over all the settings for streaming for OBS. thank you
@micandcampro5 ай бұрын
Wait, it can do that? Too bad I already returned the mixer. Good thing is, I have the XS version on my table now, review upcoming. I have to figure that out ASAP! Stay tuned for that!

@@micandcampro ummm, I don't see a way to do it. I wish it would and this needs NEEDS to be an update in the future. These devices are not ready for streamers. I have have using the DLZ Creator for streaming first before I do anything else with it and boy oh boy it's not ready for streamers at all

I have some nice devices from hercules on hand, the stream 100 and 200. I think these are exactly what you're looking for. They are meant to dial in each and every active audio channel and route it into obs for example. The 100 only controls the volumes, the 200 even integrates a headphone amp, xlr mic input with phantom power, physical dials and much more. Review also upcoming, if you're interested! 😇 Here for a sneak peek: amzn.to/3yjMaCN

@@micandcampro i mean, let's be fair, the GOXLR mini i used I loved it. Especially next to the stream deck. The Mackie needs a routing tool like the GOXLR and needs to take notes for streamers not just podcasters. I have seen that device and was tempted but got the DLZ instead. Luckily I got it new for 300 USD so can't complain

Are there output?

Ehm, yes... Of course there are outputs. Headphone, 6.3mm jacks for headphones and speakers, usb and you also can output directly to an sd card.

Can I connect an iPad Pro (via USB-C) and get two audio outputs? I’m thinking of using it with DJAY
@micandcampro Жыл бұрын
Sadly i forgot to test that. But i can ask Mackie for that.
Жыл бұрын
@@micandcampro That would be awesome!
@micandcampro Жыл бұрын
Ok, Mackie responded! It will work! The only thing to know is: you'll need a USB-c to USB-a Adapter. Meaning you use the provided USB-c to USB-a cable and plug the USB-c part into the DLZ. On your iPad you use a USB-c adapter, that provides a USB-a jack. And this is where you can plug in the USB-a end of the provided cable from the DLZ. This has to be done like that, because the DLZ uses a USB-c connector but with the USB-a protocol. If you use a MacBook it's the same procedure. 👍 Hope that helps! If you plan on buying the DLZ on amazon, I'd appreciate it if you would use my link! amzn.to/3IEbOnU Of course you don't have to if you don't want to! 😊👍

Hi and thanks for the vid... Question? I have headphones that need lots of power like the Sennheiser HD 650s I have read that the headphone amp is kind weak. I like to Rock my headphone mix when im singing. Also I have read that there is latency that is annoying. any thoughts on this.
@micandcampro Жыл бұрын
I didn't notice any significant lag, at least not in terms of monitoring. The amp is all right for low to mid impedance headphones (up to maybe 80ohms), but I can conform that it is by no means a beefy amp.
@TheMixClub Жыл бұрын
@@micandcampro Thanks man.. just the info i was looking for.. I guess if the headphones are week i will just run a line to a good headphone amp. more worried about lag.. Thanks for getting back. Good video to im gonna sub ya up....

Kind of odd that editing a sample is this much of a pain in the ass seeing how there’s a huge screen to show a waveform.
@micandcampro Жыл бұрын
I know, right? I already talked to Mackie, they at least consider implementing a waveform editor in a future update. Would love to see that!
