Electric pumps are awesome. They're super quick and the pressure is always spot on. I use a small sandbag for anchoring the wing.

Does this one have a way to manually switch from low to high pressure? The cheaper ones we have been using frequently stick at low pressure and won't switch to high pressure.

No, it does not. However, I haven't had any issues with it switching to high pressure.

@@MACkiteboarding well it does have three modes. Fan, Compressor and Auto but says it switches back to auto on power up

Never without the Ride engine anymore. To pump my kite i put my board upside down on the leading edge. Not ideal but it works

Great question. 🤙🏽 Here's what I found with Google: "Based on the provided specs for the Ride Engine Air Box Electric Pump, the lithium-ion battery is rated at 44.4 watt-hours (Wh), which falls within the typical airline allowance for lithium-ion batteries. According to the FAA and international airline regulations, lithium-ion batteries under 100 watt-hours (Wh) are allowed in carry-on luggage, but not in checked luggage. Therefore, you can bring the Ride Engine Air Box on an airplane, but it must be placed in your carry-on bag rather than checked baggage." Hope this helps. Good winds! -Aaron
