Does board volume make a difference? We have a 5 Ft Naish board which is kind of designed to do everything and is 30 liters and thicker than the often used Slingshot wake foil board. Would a thicker board work the same or does volume make things harder? Or does thickness not matter much?

Thinner boards are easier to board start but can be less stiff for heavy riders. Most people will prefer a thinner board unless they are trying to do some sort of wakesurf hybrid. -Tucker
