Great movie! Kullamannen 2026, 100 miles I’m coming! :) I especially loved the church part. It’s all about believing, remembering who we are, staying humble, and most importantly, having a lot of fun! Big thanks to Marcus for the inspiration, and to IVI, the barefoot guy, for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with unwavering faith.

I lost faith and stopped believing in a sub 20h finish - that was the main reason I DNFed. Very important lesson is to not stop believing even if you have a really rough start of the race

Was so exited when I got the notification about your Kullamannen video, but had a oh no moment when I saw the title. Sorry to see that the diabetes found a way to take you down this time, but your sure gave it a good fight! Nice that at least you got your proper official diamond ring! Live to fight another day Marcus, thanks for bringing us along for the ride! PS! Those map graphics were really excellent! 👌

Dear Marcus. Before last weekend I had never ran an ultra in my life, 75km max. Watching your videos were a great help/inspiration in preparing myself for the Kullamannen. It was brutal, but I made it to the finish line. Although we never met, you were a great help.

Thanks for another great video, especially when everything didn’t go as planned for you this time. More importantly, thank you for being a true inspiration through your videos. I’m honestly saying that watching your videos contributed a lot to making me going from never competing in running at all to finishing two 50ks this year (including a go at the Kullamannen Seventh Seal), which has been some amazing experiences! Thank you Marcus!

Great video m8! Inspiring as always. Maybe even more now while showing the low part of the DNF. Never surrender m8! Let the sub-20h dream burn inside you! I have a similar dream for the 2025. My PB on this race is 23h, i would like to crush it and most o all for once push the race and see what my real capacity is. I'm kinda tired of running these races in "safe mode" just in order to finish the race. Well, this year I could just finish the race. Just running it with a virus killing me from inside out was kinda crazy. But I managed to roll into the finish line. The virus just exploded a few days after the race! I just thought that I was tired.... no, I was sick! Anyhow Marcus, keep this dream alive! See you soon again out there! Well done m8! :)

Marcus, so sorry that your Kullamannen sub-20 dream did not come to pass this time. But delays are not denials! You will achieve your dream with time. Since you did so well in the UK in 2024 with Snowdonia and the Ring o' Fire, why not come to join us at Centurion Running for some of the wonderful 100-milers in the south of England? South Downs Way 100 is a World Trail Majors race on gorgeous terrain and at an ideal time of year (June). Thames Path 100 is a flat river race that has some very strong finish times, with a 13:43:42 course record. Those of us who follow you from the UK would love to see you here again. Meanwhile, rest well, and thank you for sharing both your successes and disappointments with us: it helps us all to be better runners and to remember that the generous spirit you showed at the finish line of the event, when your friends were crossing the line, is what ultra is all about. Thanks!

UK treated me well this year so I will absolutely come back. Heard a lot about the South Downs Way. Should really consider this for 2025. Right now it is a blank sheet of paper that need to filled in. I will start that planning soon. Thanks for watching

Will switch to english and make a big shoutout to Kullamannen organizer and UTMB: WHY don't you make it very clear that we will only receive Näak drinks / Water in several of the aid stations..? If properly informed we could have stocked up with own bars, gells and food. I think it's a joke we don't get regular Näak bars, gels or waffles....what the h.. is wrong here..? (sorry Marcus to use your comment field to complain) Take care to all runners..😊

How is your training for events like this, compared to a marathon block? How many kilometers per week?

Similar. I run on average 10km per day or 3650k per year including races. This year I tried to get faster with threshold runs
@graysonwebb20182 ай бұрын
Hej!
@MarcusKjellberg2 ай бұрын

Hey Marcus. - Sorry that your dreams didn't come true this time. It is not meant to be easy - thats why we do it. I too had to DNF at Stora Hult in the 100k race. I suffered from really bad inflamation in my right ankle and after a long battle in my head I sat down i the same chair as you did and said... no more... "There will always be next year"... so maybe Ill see you there in 2025, where I will attempt the 100m race and maybe get my first ring...
