Great interview. I appreciate the talk about addiction. As someone who has dealt with addiction for 18 years+ I feel even more empowered to attend a program. Thank you for the open and honest discussion.

I love this!!!! Got clean 2 years ago. Had a minor slip in there but not a full relapse fully. But After 25 years of opiates hell I’m finally free of that never ending cycle. The stigma is so strong still. It’s my biggest struggle today still. I was on hardcore opiates From 11 ish years old till about 37 years old non stop use. (And it did not start by choice) This interview was awesome!!! 🧿💙🦋

He looks amazing, better than back in his prime days, if I'm being honest. And he found a good sound that works for him, I'm happy for him.

I found his early music promising. The Heist was DOPE!!! The 2 albums after were hit or miss with mostly misses. I don't trust his musical vision anymore, yet I'm always interested in what he is doing because he is always capable of dropping a unique banger. Wishing him the best. Oh yeah, I went to his Heist concert with Talib Kweli opening in Detroit and it was 🔥

The problem with Macklemore is that he does a lot of goofy records. But he still comes through with great songs like I Said Hey, Wing$, Jimmy Iovine, B-Boy, Otherside. The Pop records overshadow his better content.

The goofy records are part of him and who he is and part of his charm
@kylegibson5933 Жыл бұрын
@@BigNutsBaby exactly, everyone thinks everything has to be serious all the time or you can't take them seriously, his pop records are HUGEEE and for good reason, Can't hold us he's rapping his arse off over one of the notoriously catchy beats I've ever heard in my life, period. he is 1 of 25 artist EVER in the world to have multiple diamond selling records.
