Don't like the idea of moving a center on the wing I get that bedard has a smaller frame that will be difficult to fill out strength wise but can't think of any examples where that worked for an NHL team besides draisatl / mcdavid … I get that this is all a bit pointless to say since he was drafted by the sharks but can anyone give me an example besides Edmonton / Pittsburgh with sid and malkin where a team benefited by drafting two 1st line centers instead of taking the next best available winger / defenseman or someone expected to take faceoffs on the second line if that makes sense
