I had a similar experience with my machine. I purchased from a different Chinese company with similar customer service. The language barrier was there, but they really do try. I found a set of 12 ton machine moving dollies from Vevor available from Amazon and are they ever solid. The crate they came in was impressive enough, and the wheels only cost me $250 Canadian dollars. It made moving the machine around the shop so easy. My machine arrived in a crate that was damaged, but the machine itself was fine. You had a lot less assembly to do. My machine arrived with the gantry not attached and laying strapped down on its side. This is the third machine I've purchased from LintCNC and the first needing the gantry installed. It's not a huge issue, but surprising. I needed to use an engine hoist to flip it upright and positioned on the rails. They said they do this so that the rails are not damaged in shipping, so anyone who is planning on purchasing a machine should ask the seller if they will need to install the gantry. Other than you having a Blue Elephant with DSP controller and mine a LintCNC Mach3 machine, they pretty much seem to be the same machine.

Did you cut into your worktable ? You should place a sacrificial layer between the machine and the sheet being cut. You can use MDF as a sacrificial layer. If you need some tips i'm happy to help. I operate industrial grade cnc machines.

The reason there's no ground wire where you attach the power should be that the ground wire directly connects to the frame so that the entire machine is grounded.

All that matters is you are happy with it. One thing I would have done is get the ATC, your life would be much easier.

I’ve had my machine that still in the plastic wrap more than 3 months now. You have given me the inspiration to take it off and actually put it together 😅. I’m in the process of looking at phase converters to convert single phase to triple phase which was my only holdup. Nice video my man, now get some more on KZbin with that machine 😅. Oh by the way it wasn’t too long in length just informative and well received.

I would assume that the motors and stuff are DC which is why theres no grounding wire. It is a bit bigger than i pictured it to be

Not sure... I ended up grounding it myself as I was getting light shocks through the body while the machine was operating...

Hi Macon, congrats on the new purchase. You are best off connecting the power cord Earth into that brass block with the other Green /Yellow wires connected. That looks like the Earth bus bar for the machine. It looks like the terminal you connected the cord earth to isn't connected to anything so a fault on the power side could leave the entire machine live.

Well so far I've been using Vectric Vcarve Pro to create the G-code and in the software you can manually add tabs to hole the pieces in place.

Hi man... well I'm still running it with that original cable I connected without a ground, and so far I haven't had any issues> I did however ground the machine as I was getting light shocks when touching the machine while it was running.

@@maconSTUFF I sort it out, right there where the black cable is coming out, is a black cover fixed by 2 screws. Open that and you will see another little screw with a red mark which is the place where you should connect the underground wire
