Unrelated question. NSW increased the stamp duty exemption limit to 800k last month. Do you see this happening in other states any time soon?

Hey Mohsen, hard to say at this stage might be unlikely given how strong property performance has been in the other states (ex vic).

Hey guys, I read in the courier Mail a few days ago that the homebuilders grant can now be used to service a loan and form as part of deposit is there any truth to this is this a change that is set to happen? If not then the homebuilders grant seems pretty redundant as it was designed to help people during a time of crisis without their deposit fully saved. A lot of people have had contracts and applications fall through because they applied thinking it could form part of the deposit. Apparently as of last Tuesday or something like that it can now be used. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Adam, yeah so there is 1 bank now that will do it if you have at least a 10% deposit or more - so you still need your own savings but its possible.
