+Kelly Berea you can incorporate this Rose knot in any working cords. That is partly why this technique is so easy 🙂 Take a peek at my Instagram (link is in the description box) to see all the ways I’ve used this knot in my own projects. If you are asking how I started in this demonstration? I tied two cords onto my wooden dowel using a larks head knot. Then I created a berry knot by doing 3 square knots looped together and secured by another square knot. Followed by my easy rose technique. I have tutorials on “larks head knot”, and the “berry knot” if you are not familiar I hope that helps 💕

Your arrangement of the strings happens outside of frame…. I assume you are alternating the direction of the knot but this is not the most helpful video
