thank you so much for the fun tutorial, how do you add extra strings to the end of this? like I wanted to add lace ribbon into the strings at the bottom of the disco ball?

Seems like cords 1 and 6 would get much shorter than 2-5, so should the center cords be shorter when we cut them, ideally? So we don't waste cord?
