Last week, everyone: "Harrow is evil; you can't judge people for things they haven't done yet." This week, everyone: "They're not gonna do anything just because he hasn't opened the tomb yet? That's ridiculous, he's going to!!"

Although I'd argue that he show great intent in doing that right now, is not something that is going to happened years in the future like Ammit's judgement... but I see your point

The difference is that Harrow wants to punish people for things they _might_ do, whereas here the reasonable thing would be to punish him for something he _wants_ to do and clearly _will_ do if he isn't stopped.

@@ysgramornorris2452 That is not true. Amit knows the future as was explained in episode 1, therefore she will punish people for what they WILL do. The rest of the Gods, who clearly are NOT omniscient, decide to not punish Harrow for something he MIGHT do, since they don't know his future.

@@bobsavage3317 Not so. If the future was immutably set in stone then free will would not exist and nobody could be judged for their actions because they had no choice in the matter. The only way right and wrong can exist is if sapient beings can choose between them. At most Ammit knows the most likely outcome. Plus just because Harrow CLAIMED Amit knows the future doesn't make it so. That's just what he thinks.

FYI when Khonshu and Steven were rolling back the sky that pattern of lights you saw, when you said, "Did you see those lights?" was the solar analemma, the pattern the sun seems to follow each day at noon throughout the year. I thought it was cool to through it in. Another cool thing: the phases of the Moon are changing correctly with the timeline of the story. In episode 1 the Moon is a crescent; in episode 2 a fatter crescent, and in this episode it is nearly a full quarter Moon, indicating about five days have passed since the start of the story

While the moon phase is correct, the angle of the moon is completely wrong. In this episode, it's at the sunset angle all night.

Another EXCELLENT episode! With lots of indication towards a 3rd alter, aka Jake Lockley. Also, although I can understand why some would think Marc or Jake killed Layla’s dad, I don’t think that’ll be the case. If it’s anything like how the comics played out (which the references to it so far seem to be pretty accurate to it) then I have a feeling I know who did kill him but I’m not gonna say for potential spoilers sake. Those who have read MK comics will know who I’m talking about

@19:40 those "lights" (the ones moving in a figure 8) are the way the moon moves in the sky in a lunar month. Also called a lunar analemma.

I love how the producer is catching the hypocrites, let me explain. We as viewers dont like harrow bcs of his ideology but now we want the egyptian gods to punish him even tho he hasnt done anything wrong yet, i find this funny tbh 😂

I would argue that the minute he and his people started digging, they had committed a crime. One might even be able to argue that the moment they set foot upon the path to find her tomb that they had committed a crime. Acting to interrupt Harrow's finding of the tomb would then be no different than interrupting any criminal plot. Committing the act is a crime. Plotting to commit the crime and acting in furtherance of the crime are also crimes. Saying "he hasn't done anything yet" is too narrow a view of the commission of crimes. Wanting him stopped isn't hypocritical, and neither is asking the other gods for help to stop him.

@@MACReact I think he does it as some type of self-flagellation or daily penance for his time as Konshu's avatar and hence, his hatred of Konshu. I speculate that when or if Harrow ever realizes on his own or is made to realize by Steven or Marc that he also caused even more deaths all for the sake of Ammit and that Ammit tricked him, he will choose to voluntarily sacrifice himself (i.e. die) because no amount of penance will make up for what he did for Ammit. Without knowing anything about the comics, I wonder if Ammit will probably end up being resurrected after all and the only way to stop Ammit from keep killing is Harrow's own death since they are somehow connected. So, we may end up feeling for Harrow in the end.

The third personality costume is at the end credits, you can see Jakes costume (head only) transition to Marc then Steven.. I think the Egyptian gods don't want to interfere in human bs but some don't hold the same view and one of those is khonshu

No I'm pretty sure that's just the mummy wrappings underneath Marc's suit. During the fade they do have a _sort of_ reflective sheen to them almost like a shinobi, but It's not different enough that I could see it as its own suit. Plus Mr. Knight wasn't in the end credits until Steven got his suit in Ep 2, so I doubt they would show Jake's before it's debut.

OK so remember the panther god in black panther bast is based on the Egyptian god and we’ve had mentioned to this connects the black panther in that way. Bast is based on real life mythology Bastet. Bastet was given the heart of ra. Funny enough wakanda had a heart shaped herb. Marc is Khonshu avatar so in a way since the black panther got his power from bast is he like her avatar. The asgardians are gods and we have seen a transfer of power from thor to steve Rogers however it be by a Thor’s hammer. THat brings me to relics of dr strange where they use weapons of higher beings to channel energy and power. Also a lot of this is based on Egyptian mythology which is In Africa another obvious connection to panther. Bastet is a direct child of ra and also his protector

I think Layla and Steven gonna fall for each other, maybe she stops loving Marc or loves both personalities. It’s pretty clear tho Steven was made based off some of Layla’s biggest interests, it’s why Steven and her have the same favorite poet and are into Egyptian artifacts and all sorts of other shit.

You guys are my favorite reactioners. Got Spider-Man on dvd so going to be watching your reaction to that later. If they go by the comics, Marc was part of the mercenaries who attack the archeologist, maybe Layla's dad. BUT, he turned against the other mercenaries and got killed trying to save the scientists. It maybe Khonshu tomb? Madripoor is a supervillain haven, all the bad guys hang out there. Question, if Layla starts hanging out with Steven, is that cheating?
