I congratulate you for the new tutorials where the image of the person who is explaining does not appear, since this image distracts and covers part of the program's interface. Congratulations!

Can you batch process raw images? Ie, set detail, lens adjustment etc.

Thanks for this excellent video. I was particularly interested in selecting and moving layers up and down recorded with a macro. I use this for post production of many multi-layer EXR-files produced by V-ray.👍I just found out that I cannot record inside the macro a safe nor export command. Is there a work around so I can batch process multiple multi-layered EXR-files and auto safe them as a PNG and close the current file?

Did you ever find a way to batch process with macros? Thats essentially what i was looking to find out when i found this video..
@richardvankesteren70136 ай бұрын
@@GreenLightFlight yes, actually it is very easy.. I render 300 EXR files and in Affinity Photo I selecr those in a batch and export as png or whatever.

Is there a way to play back the macro one step at a time as opposed to it running straight through? If not, that would be a really nice feature to add in an upcoming AP update.

Thank you James. I have a couple of questions, 1st- is the macro for the sketch effect available anywhere, I’m not skilled enough to do that myself? 2nd- could you give us iPad users a bone once in a while and do one of these for us? Enjoy your day.

You can literally follow the the tutorial step by step to create the sketch effect..

Macros don´t record layer moving and neither exporting the image. Photoshop does! So, I´m not able to use it for the purpose I need it.

Why did you guys hide the Affinity V1 Suite from the Microsoft Store? I can't install any of the software even though I bought the 3 of them. Lifetime license, huh? Nice joke. Serif is like Adobe but with just another fancy name.
@Unnamed456 Жыл бұрын
@@RegularCupOfJoe Yeah! But I bought them from the Microsoft Store like 2 years ago, from the Serif website I suppose the software is still there
@AffinityPhotoOfficial Жыл бұрын
Hi Alex, it is indeed a lifetime license: users who purchased V1 of the apps can still download them, we just don't sell that version to new users. Please see: forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/170897-faq-i-can-no-longer-find-affinity-v1-apps-on-your-website-or-app-stores-why/ Or the HowToGeek article: www.howtogeek.com/701390/how-to-reinstall-apps-youve-purchased-from-the-microsoft-store/ Try these steps: Open Microsoft Store Go to My Library On the right side of the window, you should see Sort and filter drop-down menu Select the Show installed products only option Hope that helps, James
@xzenor Жыл бұрын
Completely unrelated to the video ... But anyway, just because it's no longer in the store doesn't mean you can't install it anymore. You just can't buy it anymore. Click on your library (bottom left of the store) to see all software you ever installed. If you just see installed software, uncheck that at the "sort & filter" button and maybe sort by name there too, cause I'm not sure if you can use the search function here.

@@AffinityPhotoOfficial Hello! Thanks for the help, however I still think that was a lousy decision on your part. Oh and for the other guy: I decided to comment on their next video because they don't answer me by email. That's why my comment Is unrelated to the video.
@xzenor Жыл бұрын
@@Unnamed456 you have a lifetime license. What's lousy about that? Just the fact that 'you' have trouble finding it? Don't blame Serif for that. Blame the store where you bought it for having a hopeless UX.
