Also what’s funny dude is Mac was running those same big plier sets on promo like 20 years ago, but instead of a rack you got an extra set of cutting pliers. Still have mine in red. I think that’s one of those promos they use to get new guys on the truck and hooked haha.

Look into Westling socket organizers. I have them in my cart. High quality billet for less money than plastic toolbox widgets. Pretty sure they have anodized purple now too!😂

Random after seeing your hand me downs. I wish snap-on made an actual heavy duty pick set like shaft diameter of everyones radiator hose sets. I think im going to go with the cornwell set. Ive used my boss's old square handle cornwells many times.

@pablosgarage707 ive scoured looking and they mayhew set looks to be long hd. The cornwell set is. And i rarely see a MAC truck around so I havent really bothered there. Gear wrench also has a jumbo set. Our snappy truvk comes 2x a week on Monday and Friday so it would be nice for him to just have it. They have the length and diameter in the radiator set but I dont need to pick a cotter pin out around the neighbors tree at a 37 degree up angle and 17 degrees left.

Pablo, you should look into buying some Astro low profile nano impact socket set. I have the 6-24 with no skips 3/8 drive and I’ve been using them more than my snap on sockets. Just thought you might really like them.

Its so funny that all mechanics are so addicted to ratchets. You really only need like 5, maybe 6 ratchets, but we all have like 25 or more lol. Ive got like 75 pairs of pliers and use like 15, maybe 20 of them too. I don't understand what it is about ratchets, but they are freaking addictive!! I also have an addiction to sockets for some reason too.

lol I’ll tell you why it’s addictive. Well at least for me. I remember when all I could afford were cheap craftsman, kobalt Milwaukee dewalt etc… ratchets that have so much backdrag it’s annoying to work with. Same goes for pliers that just don’t grip worth a dam 😂. Know with good ratchets and pliers it just makes everything a breeze. Well at least most of the time 😂. I wonder how many I will have when I’m 50 years old lol

Definetely gotta recommend ToolBox Widget for your top socket drawer/ratchets. I've got the same box you have but Matte black I had blow molded cases full of sockets and torx taking up 100% of my top drawer. I spent a good fortune on the widget and now I'm using just about 30% of my top drawer lol crazy difference.

Snap-On has a new rebuild kit for the 100 tooth ratchets that fixes all the issues including a new selector switch. Covered under warranty if Snap-On ever shows up again. Part No. RKRF100

Just a good public service announcement please never leave your cordless tool batteries plugged in unattended always unplugged them after they are charged. There are many instances out there of them starting shops on fire or home garages or even peoples houses. Just thought I would share that.

It sure is. I’m curious to see what they actually go for on the truck. Ima use it’s a high map price to make the the "deal" sound better. For example "it’s normally 615$ but we can do it for 280$" so it’s 335$ "off" when in reality most people pay the 280 anyways 😂. Just a theory 🤷‍♂️

Pablo, instead of doing a "Catalog Video", you could take the separate parts of the Cornwell catalog and do individual videos on those (ex: one video just on SAE/Metric chrome sockets, next one on SAE/Metric impact, next screwdrivers, etc., etc., etc.) Esa caja Macsimizer esta bien buena.

Should look into capri sockets you can’t beat the price and options. They’ve an amazing selection from deep, semi deep, shallows, and stubby. I’ve their 1/2 deep and shallows in both metric and standard. As well as their 3/8 deep and shallows in both metric and standard. In 3/8 metric I’ve the semi deeps and stubby. My swivel sockets are snap on because I feel they’re the ones that are worth investing the money into. I’ve those in both shallow and semi deep. I actually use my semi deep swivels more which was kinda surprising to me.

In a pinch. If you don’t have magic fingers or something similar…. Tape. Like that pebble you needed the fingers for. Take a screwdriver and wrap electrical tape, painters tape or duct tape backwards so the sticky side is out on it. Do a loop or two on the screwdriver head so it’s stuck to the shaft and then flip the tape and wrap it on it self for a few wraps. Stick that down and you should be able to stick onto whatever you need to grab. As long as you are quick enough and the tape is sticky enough you can grab something. It works in a pinch if needed. Done it many times. I’ll even put tape around magnetic pick up tool that are flexible to get not metallic objects.

Daniel has been at a different location and crow is no longer with us. Now it’s just Carlos as the General service tech and Alan and I as technicians. And uncle fester (Mike) as the mobile diagnostics technician. He travels shop to shop assisting techs with there problems. He has helped me out a bunch of times! So has Alan. It’s been a great time at the shop. My cousin David will be starting with us soon as a general service tech. He’s been on the channel before. Automotive. We work on a variety of cars at work. Honda Toyota GM Ford and some European stuff like Audi, bmw, Land Rover Mercedes. Just depends on the specific job. As far as diesel work I will do simple stuff on them like brakes, ac compressors, water pumps, etc… we don’t get super deep into them because we have a tech that is a diesel specialist at a different location.
