That was a terrible story! Seems like it was just rushed to production. I lost interest and skipped to the ending. You didn't mention a trial, the parents getting prison sentences, or Maria keeping a low profile. Not even a blip about Bree moving in with her aunt, finishing high school and going to college. You need to do better

​​@@franceylowe2885 🙄 Do you have any clue how BIG the South is? Southern accents are NOT homogenous. I've lived in the South my whole life also, and there are differences between southern accents. Mississippi is different from Louisiana which is different from Florida, Alabama or West Virginia.

This is definitely from another country. In this country,they have laws protecting children in the acting profession. Also,they actively check on these kids while they're working and home. There's a name for this but I've forgotten. If I had parents that acted this way, I would have taken off to the cops or CPS! Edit: I always have to come back to fix spelling mistakes,lol!

Maria would not fall under child acting laws. She started auditioning at 17, an got her first job at 19 when she was a legal adult. However, the way the treated Anna, they deserve to be in jail for a long time! PS I always have to edit for spelling mistakes as well. Lol

Macaulay Culkin's dad would let everyone else sleep in their own beds, but force Macaulay to sleep on the couch just to show Macaulay who was in charge. I know that doesn't seem like that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, but the constant mind games Macaulay must have had to endure from his dad must have taken a huge toll. He does everything his dad wants, and then in return, his dad, probably out of jealousy of Macaulay's success, constantly feels the need to show his power in the household, punishing Macaulay for the smallest things. The whole Britney Spears situation. I know, she was grown when the conservatorship started, but still the financial abusiveness of her family. All the while, they were living on her hard earned dime.

This has the essence of Disney Cinderella with the way the mother, including the father was treating their daughter Anna and especially favoring her sister Maria over her. Unlike the Disney’s Cinderella, Maria wasn’t the hateful sister even though she’s not the step sister, and that her mom, Cheryl was just as hateful even though she’s not a stepmother and John isn’t dead. Aunt Bri’s the only sensible person being the sister of the tyrant Cheryl who cannot seem to come to her senses when it comes to being a caring mom that she should have been the entire time. Hopefully Cheryl will think twice before being labeled the evil mother instead of being that evil stepmother. Maria, and her sister Anna really deserved to have better parents instead of idiots like Cheryl and John. I hope Aunt Bri could try to help both Cheryl and John become better parents and to forgive both Maria and especially Anna for their cruelty.
