Thanks for continuing with Lovebites. The world needs to know about this band. So.... Have you ever sat in a 1968 Pontiac GTO with 350 hp under the hood, and the driver is only going 25mph, and you can feel all that power in reserve, just waiting to explode, and you almost get the shakes? That's how watching this group do this song makes me feel. There have been lots of bands who could play hard rock and metal, but writing and performing a truly beautiful ballad is completely different thing, and few bands can pass the test. Lovebites are able to surprise us because they have studied many genres of music and know how to use all the tools to tell a story.

Utterly beautiful song, my favourite, because of this particular performance. Asami pours her very being into those vocals. It’s clear her RnB/Lounge singer background has given her THE most beautiful voice in rock. I try and recommend this to a first time reaction of the band because it’s often a total contrast to what they have just seen (usually “Holy War”). I second the suggestion for “A Frozen Serenade” live. It too will leave you open mouthed.

I always get a lump in my throat with this one. So emotional and I love those little fills from Haruna that teases that its just about to get faster. Its followed by Don't Bite The Dust. It brings the energy back which is exactly what's needed after Epilogue. 👍👍👍👏👏👏

Yes, there’s more, these Goddesses can do it all, thrash,power,speed and metal ballads that will pull your heart strings! You’ve done one of the “E” trilogies, you need to check out Edge of the World and Empty Daydream,live, to fully experience their range of genres. 🤘🐺🤘

I agree with Edge of the World, that's easily top 3. Empty Daydream is in the bottom 5 Lovebites songs for me. Every Lovebites song is good, so even putting it in the bottom 5 isn't a bad thing!

In general, Lovebites is a rollercoaster of emotions. They are so versatile and proficient musicians. Yes, Asami is an excellent singer; remember she used to sing R&B, jazz, soul before she joined Lovebites. This song is another masterpiece; those guitar sing and cry and it showcases Asami’s vocals. My next suggestions are “Empty daydream”, “A frozen serenade”(live, of course)

The word 'Masterpiece' doesn't even come close to describing this piece of work. Now, I won't say I cry when I hear this song. But for some reason my eyes tend to leak some sort of salty water. Someone please explain why. It's not even a sad song. Lol. Glad to see it affects you guys the same way. One song of theirs that does make me cry though, is 'Journey To The Other Side'. Try the live version of that & see how you go. It's about the death of Miho's father. Her biggest hero. I don't know how she finished the song.

The fact they can do heavy thrash, power metal or this is remarkable. Opening with both on acoustic, then harmonizing, then piano, then solo'ing, etc. Midori & Miyako are something else to watch, the whole band is obviously. But what M&M do together is truly special. Not a fan of the lyrics, (but i am not a fan of most artist lyrics, besides Bob Dylan) it's a bit naive, I kind of like the chorus though, BUT THAT GUITAR INTRO, from Miyako, got to melt you, unless you got s hole in your soul.
