I was a baritone player in that group representing the Black Knights of Oswego, NY. It such an honor that it still brings chills and tears of joy all these years later. Thank you for having a place for me to show my children what I accomplished in my youth.

Man this takes me back. I'm so glad I had a chance to be a part of this. It's not many people that get to play in a group this size!

I don't know if it's true that he cries every time, but I love that he said it.

I was there for that. I remember rehearsals in Hackensack. Rehearsing the tight blocks off the top, I ended up making some dude in front of me temporarily deaf cause we were all play multi-blastissimo! Good times.

The best moment came in 92 tho when playing on the steps of the library after the photo. If you watch the parade footage later, you can hear us and we were blocks away! There also a whole ton of people standing on the mailboxes and plugging their ears! Good times! (Cardinals of Scarborough)

I was there in 91 and 92. Lead sop from Mello Dears from Owego, New York. I was 12 at the time, so I'm the short one 6th from the right in the front row. Awesome experience and met so many great people!

I was in the 1991 Macy's parade, but never saw the footage of us. We were tin toons following right behind the Pink Panther. What fun that was! I have a few personal pics but never got to see the whole parade. I forgot to tape it. Can't find it anywhere. Macy's doesn't keep copies. Anyone could help I'd appreciate it.
@stevarino198910 жыл бұрын
Why wouldn't they keep copies? I saw archival footage on that 85th anniversary special in 2011. Unless it's NBC property not Macy's. I'm with you, I want clear restored copies of some of the parades. The only restored clip I have is a clip of the Bart Simpson balloon from 1991, that's on the Simpsons season 3 DVD. I want a clear copy of the 1989 parade, that was my first Thanksgiving, lol.

Stephen R Well, if you find a copy of the 91 parade, please let me know. I never did see myself in it.

My 15 minutes of fame and I never saw it. Bummer! No, apparently Macy's doesn't keep copies of the parade. At least that's what they told me in the 90's. I was a "Tin Toon" in the 1991 Macy's parade. Had lots of fun. Will always remember the fun day though.
