Joanne Carlson Check out 80’s commercial vault. That channel uploaded the 1980 parade yesterday. It has changed a lot, but I still enjoy it. It’s just tradition to watch it while cooking dinner. I wasn’t even born yet in 1980, but still loved watching something from the 80’s. I’m 37 so I was born in ‘82. That channel uploads mostly old 80’s & 90’s commercials, but sometimes, like yesterday, they’ll upload more. It’s the entire parade. Edit: Well, not the entire parade, just the highlights & commercials airing at the time, but still a great watch! That channel also has parade highlights from other years. Things really have changed a lot.

Awful camera man! I appreciate seeing the balloons and love those a lot, along with the floats! But, they totally disregarded the non-floats (people in costume/miscellaneous stuff) and marching bands part of the parade. They hardly ever panned to them and/or just didn't at all. I wanted to see them too! Such a shame they didn't get to pan over more stuff. Maybe next time, they need two cameras. One for looking at the balloons/floats, and the other for marching bands and other non float stuff. That way they can cue between the cameras. Oh well, thank you for sharing the stream!! I appreciate that you guys filmed this! Happy Thanksgiving 2019!!

They are having audio problems as well as wind problems this is why noone is hosting the parade. Noone is singing on the floats because of the audio problems also. People will remember Macy's 93rd Thanksgiving Parade because of the mistakes made today. Is this sabotage? I have seen the parade in the past and the balloons were flying higher when the winds were blowing strong. I have seen the parade when they had audio problems but it was fixed right away. Macy's is in trouble financially because of the economy. Just like Sears, Charlotte Russ, Forever 21 and hundreds more. If it is sabotage, is Macy's going to use this as an excuse to discontinue the parade? It does cost thousands and thousands of dollars to put this parade together. We need to spend more money at Macy's or this global icon will be gone. Macy's is remembered because of the movie "Miracle on 34th Street ".
