WARNING! A bit of a rant below haha HI guys! So today we have anther Macy’s unboxing and I would just like to say…Macys! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? There are so many products and beauty brands at your disposal! I went on the website and it says they have around 2,942 makeup products, as well as 2,583 skincare products, and 1,267 hair care products but we continue to get the same brands and items (and also an occasional foot pad or pair of underpants!). When there are other boxes that offer full-size products for just a few dollars more and even boxes, like Allure, that have included full size expensive skincare items for the same price, you might want to step up your game! I had the same mailman for years and years until the last few months and then the last few months there's been problems with my package getting lost or him losing it under another toe and it being delayed and then when I finally received it this month my body lux, iy6 they had a big like ripped open. Plus a huge dent in it!@!! Ugh

I worked at Ups both at the Hub unloading boxes and as a driver helper and I never damaged or dropped anything and was told in training that if we did so we were to leave an note for the customer if they were not home or to tell a customer to their face if we did so that they can get replacements

When we have a lot of boxes coming down, and especially heavy boxes they tend to dent and/or sometimes crush the smaller boxes. We just load them and try to make sure nothing gets damaged in transit.

The capsules are to keep the product fresh and at full strength for every use. Just a way of making sure you get the exact same dose of product each time. Retinol and Vitamin C are notoroious for not being stable (they are antioxidants, after all), so keep them away from air, guarantee results :)

Here's the tea .. Used to work for Elizabeth Arden, those capsule samples come into the store free btw 👀 👀 the ingredients are meant to stay fresher and be more concentrated in the capsules, but they're mostly dimethicone (silicone) so it's up to u if u want that in Ur skincare 🤷

I actually really like the items in this month's Box. And for $15.00, I think it's a great value. People always say the stores give away samples, but I don't have a Macy's store near me, and I'm not sure how comfortable any store would be with someone coming in and just asking for samples over and over again. Some months are definitely better than others though. I loved the brush holder, as I travel quite a bit. Even though we may disagree on this one, you're still my favorite beauty guru!💖💞💖💞

I think this was a fantastic box for Macy's. I agree, a few full size items would make it a much better value. I tend to think of this box more like Ipsy where you are only going to get full size on occasion. I was not subbed when the undies came out but those breast pedals...ugh! I am sad, my box did not include the info. card or the ten dollar discount. I only had an oops card included. I will have to email customer service for that discount code. Love your videos!

I know those little foot pads seem silly ( and they are an odd addition to a beauty box) but if you're not used to heels they make such a difference! A friend gave me some that aren't even as nice as the ones you got and I couldn't believe it! Stilettos all night, and no foot pain, amazing.

Someone may have said this already, but often the little caps are often because there is something volatile in there. So if there is some that oxidizes quickly in air, or is really really light sensitive it will keep the product protected for longer

With all the brands & products at their disposal, Macy's could do A LOT Better with this box. I feel the same way about Sephora Play, which I cancelled. Not once did Sephora even put a full size Sephora brand product in their box for us to try out. * In our $15 Allure box earlier this year, we got the FULL SIZE SR Glow Oil before it even went into the stores. I bought a nice white, large brush roll for $1 from Shop Miss A. It holds at least a full set & a half of brushes. I watch you do these Macy unboxings & never feel like I'm missing out on a thing LOL ;-) Have a great week Allie ❤

It does! Use it like weekly. I have the Sunday Riley oil and was siding it daily and my skin got WEIRD. I even started having breakouts I never used to have. Once I stopped using it every day my skin went back to normal. I slowly started again weekly and it’s been fine haha and I have tough skin. It’ll can usually use really intense products with no issues.

Look up the brand the ordinary. They have a lot of affordable acids and they say how often you can use each one.

I love the Sunday Riley Glow. The medium size, lasts forever. It does not irritate my sensitive skin. Its $42 i think but it lasts. You only use like 4 or 5 drops.

I can’t speak for the Elizabeth Arden capsules, but Signature A has carried them for years. The reason why they use them is because “the serum is highly concentrated so you get the same amount each time you use a capsule.” I could see a small child grabbing a handful and popping them like raisins, though.
