This 1971 Mini Clubman ZCAR comes from Alex the owner of the Ford Fiesta Cosworth and boy did he save the best till last.
Running a K20 Swap with bike throttle bodies in a Mini that weighs 650kg, which works out to about 359bhp per ton it revs up like a beast.
Sounds like a motorbike!! 1 of the best cars we have had to date.

This has to be my favourite car you've had on now! Mini clubman 1979 was my first car, which I dropped the MG metro turbo engine in and a car I wish I never sold! This coupled with a K20 which has to be one of my favourite engines, with my last civic being super charged at 432whp on stock internals never burnt a drop of oil in 5 years is a testament of how over engineered they are from factory. Love the sound of the bike throttle bodies and I agree I'd leave that as it is, but if he was going forced induction it has to be supercharged so it still retains the k20 characteristics but on steroids.

And allegro twin headlight grill will fit on a clubman. That was a great mod back in the 80’s. I had a similar colour 1275GT in the 90’s. It had a German Shepard living in it when I bought it. For £80. Absolute piece of shit. No floor. Snapped engine mounts. Went like absolute stink. I have never loved any other car I have had since. Absolutely loved seeing this one.
