I was 10 years old in 1977 that's when I frist saw young Savagees it was the best gang movie I ever saw still is I thought I would never see it again thanks to the new technology I can watch it when ever I want Plus you can catch JC on Adam 12 and Drangnet and his Son looks just like him 🧐👍

Just ❤love these black and white flims We had the best golden years back then 1960 ❤ When cameras were nice and slow watching all the details ❤ Great stars always every time My time machine going back to the classic 1950/60 Also we had great British flims too Thanks u tube always appreciated for having these classic dramas ❤ Today we have thousand channels Totally nothing Today Oscars given like sweets Every one gets Oscars in the flim these days This flim great When gangster were cool Just can't beat 1950 /60 Golden years back then Street wise tal..............

It's amazing how the writers of the movie tied Coll's violent, criminal behavior to the beatings he received from his father. The message of the movie seems to be that Coll would not have been a gangster had he been raised by a single mother.

John Chandler was the right choice for this movie. He was good in " The Young Savages" with Burt Lancaster and Shelly Winters too. Chandler was one of the creepiest guys doing movies back then. Surprised he didn't get more roles.

Very over the top performance, died at 23. He was supposed to kill Lucky Luciano, as ordered by Joe Maseria,but Maseria got hit first. Chandler was good in Major Dundee and better in Josey Wales.
