It’s different i guess. I been coming to Bonneville for almost 23 years and involved with racing for a long time and i guess you just always understand that stuff happens. Sure it was disappointing but I didn’t let it get to me to much. The absolute worst part was driving my new truck through the lake to get my car.. that was super stressful. Hahaha

I was there in 92. When it rained on saturday night, the old guys said it was the worst they had seen. I think you showed more water. On wednesday of that week, they let us back on the salt and they ran the short course. Quite a memory.

Man that sucks! I used to work at a fab shop that built a couple salt flat cars....one quite famous , and the guys that owned it had been racing there for like 40 years (and this was 2001)....they would tell us the stories of the trials and tribulations and how the weather screwed them all the time. Better luck next year. Love the car!
